Hi all,

I just got the RA ATO pump. I set it up Friday and it replaced my Aqua Lifter ATO pump.

I connected everything and it seemed fine.

However, I started to get ATO timeouts on my RA app.

It seems the power to the pump is turned on by my the controller, but it does not actually spin. If I remove the front part (with the hose and turning mechanism), the motor starts spinning. Then if I put it back together, it works fine until the next time it's needed.

Am I missing something?

When I received it, the front part was actually separated. I guess it was banged around during shipping. But, it snapped right in.

Any ideas?

Sounds like the pump is not assembled well. If it gets power it should turn. If its not something is wrong. Also you may need to adjust your timeout for the new pump if its slower.
