I know there is a harness ra sells but want to make my own what power and controller plugs does it use I searched and there are different types of power plugs and waterproof 3pin plugs and are there resistors in it?

Reading through it but so far only found it says to gut the current controller it comes with. I'll keep reading

There were some threads on the apex forums and some more on RC. Shouldn't be that tough to find i would think.

The cables can be bought here.
http://www.aliexpress.com/item-img/Free ... 98351.html

It's a 24v power supply.

ok i see the controller cords now how about the power connector there is different types of them in different inner and outer diameters for the power jack.

i think i have a page for the resistors but they say for apex dimming will that be the same for ra 0-10v and or pmw

i havent opened my dimmer expansion to see if it is infact the switchable anolog/pmw model it was bought used

looks like the controllers box comes in a option of 0-10v or pmw how do i tell which controller i have

With the RA cables the pump will work on either analog or PWM. You don't have to set the jumpers.

If you make yours correctly it would be too.

You probably have pwm. The analog should have a sticker on the relay box.

Well looks like I'm skipping ra controlled jabeo for a while after drilling more bulkheads and all the re plumbing and bulkhead replacements for setting back up is a huge drain on the wallet so I'll stick with the stock jabeo controller for a while and run the dimming to my marsaquas and call it a year lol

Good move. Save some money and just buy the cables. Probably cheaper in the long run

Is there a way to know aside from a sticker for if my relay box Is anolog or pmw internals or outside build features besides a sticker

You'd have to open it up and see. Roberto can give you details what you're looking for.

Did u get my FB pm about my dimming expansion I opened it and the red wire looks odd

Yes. I wouldn't worry about it. And yes the cable works with either. Most likely you'd know if the relay box were analog. They cost more so your seller would have said something.

Ok made my cable. Now seems like the pumps have no operation under 17% so how do I add a limit to the dc pump code to not allow pwm 4 and 5 (which is 5v anolog with the jumpers) to not fall past 19% bout not sure if it wI'll effect my feeding and wc mode to 0%/off

First of all the Jwabo pump are 0=10v not 0-5v.

Secondly I haven't seen one go below 25%.
My WP 40 has a lower limit of 30% and my WP 25 had a lower limit of 25%

lnevo helped me with a lot of my coding, but I don't think I have a lower limit set.
I think I get set it so the variation would not go be low 30%.

Feedings and WC they go to 0 and come back fine.
At night I have them set to a constant 30%

ReefAngel.DCPump.Threshold=15;

I got the app to set it lol I missed that . It's working great on 0-5v . The harness they make have voltage dividers in them to drop 0-10v in half to 0-5v is what I got from bunch of diy cables all 0-10v diy treads had risistors in them to be voltage dividers

Water change and feed works fine as is found the minimal threshold 20% on 0-5v and I'm going to test the stock jebao controller to see what it really puts out

Wel looks like first of all The rw pumps take a 100% 0-5v anolog signal and a main source ov 24v not 0-10v . Just checked the stock controller :P
