Hi all,

just a quick simple question, the USB to TTL cable that you use to upload new sketches to the reef angel - does it need to be 6 pin? The one I got in my kit (used) is only 4 pins.

If need be I can order a new cable from ebay, but the colours seem to be different and the manual doesn't show in great detail what the pinout is to the display.

Basically, I need a little more detail on what and how to connect to my Mac.

Many thanks,
Sam

4 pins?
Can you send a photo?
You can also order the cable on the webstore.
Technically, we only use 4 pins to upload codes to RA and 5 pins to reprogram the wifi attachment.

Surely that price isn't right? $30USD?

Guess I'll just get an ebay one and see how it goes, but my question remains - can you use 4 pin or does it really need the 6?
