uapp status

Question: My Reef Angel Star controller is operating fine. It provides statuses on the main display and the programatical controls seem to work OK. My question / issue is with Uapp. From the portal I can see that I am connecting and passing status to the Portal. When I execute Uapp, I always get a status of disconnected and that it has never connected. when I configured the controller in Uapp, I simply entered my portal ID and password and left the other parameters blank. Can you answer two questions; do I need to login to the forum before executing uapp? and, any insight into why I never seem to connect with uapp? Thanks

Uapp has case sensitive username and password.
Does the controller show cloud connected on the status page?
