Re: Controller randomly resetting
Is there a module for that? I'd actually prefer to go ethernet based, but I didn't think that was an option. Could the wifi module be shot?

Re: Controller randomly resetting
No I didn't see the yellow light blinking led when I plugged the wifi back in and I just tried it a few times again. Should the yellow led start flashing pretty much right away or will it happen randomly? The leds flash green then blue a few times and then I get a steady blinking green light. I exte...

I removed the portal function and am still having the same issue. I checked and confirmed that I am using library 1.1.0. Any ideas?

Re: Controller randomly resetting
The computers are off. It appears to only be the expansion relay that is affected. All ports are cycling on and off every few minutes. I did have to make a long cable (15 feet) so that I could place the expansion relay near my tank. I'm not sure if that could have anything to do with it.

Re: Controller randomly resetting
Hi Roberto, Has there been any updates on this issue. I had been experiencing issues with relays randomly turning on and off. Add in WDT temporarily fixed the problem but it returned after a few days. I tried increasing WDT but for some reason it wouldn't upload with anything higher than 3. After st...

I have two WP40's on my 300 and have another two WP60's on their way. Right now I'm just powering them through the relays and not controlling them with the dimming module. I'll probably do that in a few months, but in the meantime I plan on putting them on the sides of the tank facing each corner. T...

Re: Controller randomly resetting
Does this issue only effect the older wifi firmware? I uploaded some new code today and also updated my wifi module firmware to 4.0. Afterwards I noticed that my T5's on my expansion relay were cycling off and on every 5 to 10 minutes. I could here the relay clicking on and off. After watching it fo...

I havent corfirmed that it will toggle those ports with the stock cable. I just confirmed that they powered up when I had the issue with the first cable. Good idea ill try the stock cable this weekend to help troubleshoot it. Thanks!

Re: Extension for Relay Box?
Thanks the reason im asking is because it was stated in earlier in this post that 14 pins were needed but then later that it was 15. I'd like to try to pin (no pun intended) down the problem before I blow another $20 on a cable. My next step will be to hunt down the connectors to make on myself.

Re: Extension for Relay Box?
So the lights on the two ports that I couldnt toggle off with the android app have been turning on and off with the light cycle. There is something odd going on. Although ports 2 & 4 on the expansion relay wont toggle off when they are scheduled to be on through the light cycle, I can toggle the...

Re: Extension for Relay Box?
Does the cable need to have 14 or 15 pins? I noticed on page 1 that you said 14 pins. I got another cable today and although it was advertised as 15 pins it only had 14. I tried it anyway and to my surprise all of the ports were on. Success... Not so fast. I then tried to toggle the ports using the ...

Re: Extension for Relay Box?
I'm trying to move my second relay about 15 feet from the relay expansion box. I picked up this vga cable which has 15 pins but it doesn't work http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005DG67VM/ref=oh_details_o04_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. I swapped back to the original cable and confirmed that the relay ...

Re: Android Reef Angel Status
I seem to have a connection issue when I'm off my home network. I'm using the same address for my away host as with the Portal. The portal updates fine but when I try to access it through Reef Angel Status on my away settings I get a Error 15: Timeout. It works fine on my home settings. Any ideas?

Just a minor note on the new version. On my nexus 10 the text on the right "Main Relay" gets cut off on the controller screen.

Re: Reef Angel Wizard
The function does not use those. It actually offsets the StandardLights by x amount of minutes that you need to set on memory location ActinicOffset or 884. Is there a default offset for this? My actinics relays don't appear to be cycling on. I'm not seeing any ActinicOffset code in my memory or pd...

Re: Reef Angel Wizard
Is anyone having issue with the actinic lights functions? I used the wizard last night to generate this code. For some reason the two ports (1&2 on my main relay) that my actinics are on are staying energized. The standard lights are on the same schedule and working ok. I've tried powering it on...
