Re: Problem with Temperature Probe and Readings
Here is the entire code. Sorry if it is more than you need. I'll try and reset it to factory and redo the wizard without changing the names. #include <ReefAngel_Features.h> #include <Globals.h> #include <RA_Wifi.h> #include <Wire.h> #include <OneWire.h> #include <Time.h> #include <DS1307RTC.h> #incl...

Re: Problem with Temperature Probe and Readings
Yesterday I was able to upload and everything worked fine... The temperature was displaying and I wasn't getting an error. Then I decided to add the specific names for the ports into the code and now the temp won't display and I get the time out error. Could this be it?

Tuesday night I was able to upload just fine. All I did was name the ports and didn't change anything else.

Still not working. When I try to upload, the status light flashes three times and then I get the error. I checked the installer and it says that it timed out.

Re: Problem with Temperature Probe and Readings
I noticed last night when I was resetting it for the 4th time last night that it will display temp, then display 0.0, then the actual temp, and so on. Its like it is not getting a signal. Do I need to order a new one?

Problem with Temperature Probe and Readings
I have noticed that my controller is not reading temperature sometimes. I reuploaded the code last night and it was working and displaying the temperature but this morning it was back to showing 0.0. I plugged in the cable to upload the code and the controller reset and was displaying the temp again...

Re: Just Received Your Controller
It's working now. I guess you have to leave the probe plugged in while you're updating... Everything works fine now.

Re: Just Received Your Controller
I checked the temp probe and the wires look fine. I'm wondering if I messed up in the wizard somehow.

Re: Just Received Your Controller
I'll check when I get home. I hope that I didn't pull the wires loose. I gripped it on the connector itself.
Also, is there a preferred pH calibration solution or can I just order the packets from BRS?

It's not displaying anything. It's acting like it's not plugged in. I've unplugged it and plugged it back in several times.

Re: Just Received Your Controller
Right after I replied, I found it.
Now that that's all set up, my temperature isn't displaying. Could I have messed something up when I was uploading?

Just Received Your Controller
I just got my controller in tonight and I got it all set up to the standard set up. Here's some things I'd like to change but I'm not sure how to go about doing it. I do not need two wavemaker plug ins. I have one small powerhead behind my aquascaping on one of the wavemaker plugins but the other is...

Re: Researching Controllers
I think that's what has me sold on this controller versus the Apex, if I can dream it, it most likely can be done. Thanks for all the help. I'm sure you'll hear from me soon on the "how can I" questions!

Re: Researching Controllers
It has helped tremendously! The thought of the sky being the limit as what my controller can do is great... that and not paying for a name and a big screen. As far as what I want it to do right now, all but the dosing and leak detection for now. I plan on buying the main controller and then as I go ...

Researching Controllers
hello all, hopefully I'm posting this in the right section. I am in the process of researching controllers and trying to decide on which one to go with. So far, I've narrowed it down to RA and Apex. Other than price, why should I choose RA over Apex? There are some things that come basic with the RA...
