Internal memory question
If you have the dosing pump internal memory set to a certain minute and duration and you upload an altered code, Does it save that duration or do you need to reset this any time you upload a new code?

Re: There may be an issue with my pH probe.
I don't normally go crazy trying to chase my pH. I calibrated the probe I have once when i first got the RA and basically only watch it for fluctuation and am happy so long as it is not swinging and not so much concerned if i am at 8.0 or 8.5. The ramping from 8.2 to 11.6 and then plummet back to 8....

are they all compatible with the RA? I don't know if the connection is standard or anything about the probes outside installing and calibrating it.

Is the one on the website better than the original? Is it the same as the original? Is there a different one?cosmith71 wrote:It may be dying. How old is it? The cheaper ones normally don't last more than a year.

i thought some of the other variables did but i didn't know if this would cause there to definitely be a cloud per day or not.

Re: How do i code dosing pumps
Didn't realize it was able to be set up through the wizard. I feel like an idiot.
So with using internal memory,
I would just have to adjust how i wanted them to run from the portal, right?
So with using internal memory,
Code: Select all
ReefAngel.DosingPumpRepeat1( Port7 );
ReefAngel.DosingPumpRepeat2( Port8 );

How do i code dosing pumps
I am hoping someone can help me get a code for running 2 dosing pumps. I am wanting to run them several times a day for short equal periods. I don't have the actual specifics at this time but for an example I could manipulate with the times i will want to use could we have port 7 come on for 3 minut...

dosing pump questions
I am thinking of buying a couple of the RA dosing pumps but can't find any information about them. I am trying to find out how they hook up, how the code would need to be written, if there are any other modules i would need to run them, what the minimum and maximum flow is? Are there any reviews, or...

Re: Auto Water change
The standard ato uses two float switches. You could use one but you lose redundancy I am pretty open to how it should be set up. I only have one good float switch so i will have to buy new ones anyway. So if i need the 2 float ato and then a low one for the water change I am open to it but if I/O e...

Re: Auto Water change
No rush. I figure I would have to start with two float switches, one being the ATO float switch. Whatever other info you need just let me know.

Re: Auto Water change
Yep. Perfect way to go about it. If you use the ato float, you can use the ato function to refill the saltwater too. So i could use the existing ATO float for for the refill and put another float under the water line for the low end and then just have 2 pumps? If that is correct, what would the cod...

Auto Water change
Would it be possible to do automatic water changes by having one pump turn on draining X amount of water until a float swith or water level sensor hits then turn on another pump of new water until it rises back up to the normal level or to the ATO switch? I thought if it did this once a day at a cer...

Re: pH climbing
So this is what it did before Reef.png And after calibrating it today it began to rise again and then just dropped to what may be the correct pH value. So i recalibrated again today and it was 545 for 7 and 767 for 10. However, after calibration the probe was reading 8.69 and now climbing again at 9.18 right now.

Re: Auto Water Change
I have two litermeter pumps and have it pump water in/out 150 times a day. What you need to is see how much each water pumps per unit of time. Then you can calculate how long each pump needs to run and how many times a day you need it to turn on in order to change the desired amount of water. I hav...

Re: pH climbing
I don't remember exactly but they were something like 545 and 600. I can recalibrate and record those numbers if you need the actual numbers. The pH is 14.00 currently i think it has stopped. Just to make sure I am calibrating correctly, does the calibration process take about 5-10 minutes? The numb...
