Unable to update RA code

I've had my reef angel for about 4 months now. I've updated the code on it many times. Now, for some unknown reason, I can no longer upload any code to the controller. I recently unplugged my RA and plugged it back in, but that is all I have changed. When I try to upload code to the controller, the status light blinks, stays on, blinks again, and goes off before the code is uploaded. Here is the output I get from the command window:

I have tried changing COM ports, unplugging the serial to USB cable and plugging it back in, and restarting my computer. What's going on? Help please!

Are you trying to upload in the same computer you had sucessfully uploaded in the past?
How many COM ports do you have?
The easiest way to find out which port you need to use is to write down the port, unplug the USB-TTL cable and check which one has been removed.
The one that was removed is the one you need to select to upload to the controller.

I did what you suggested, and it is COM 5, which is the port I was trying to use previously and have successfully used in the past. I have not changed computers...

Which board do you have?

I'm not sure, I've always selected reefangel with optiboot...more than that, I'm not sure. I bought it four months ago and there was only one option of head unit.

Yes, the board without optiboot is about 2 years old.
Could it be that the cable or connector got corrosion?
Do you have wifi?

I do not have wifi. The cable and connectors all look perfect and shiny; like new.

Can you try a different computer?
If it still doesn't work, pm me for repair.
