Cloud cover with Daylight stock dimming port

Anyway to randomly have cloud cover on random days with duration of 30min to 2 hours?...this would only affect the daylight dimming channel (stock) for the duration of the cloud, then pick up the parabola slope where it should (depending on the time of day) after the cloud has passed?

I think this would give us stock people with only two drivers more options with the stock dimming channels.
