I have been trying to setup my 2nd RA system and I have been having issues with the 2nd Wifi module. I 1st one has been up and running for quite a few years with no issues using port 2000 and the portal and App home and away functions work without any problems
The new system is another story. I have configured the Wifi to use port 1000 and the ssid and password word are working correctly I can see the module on my router page and can ping the address with no issues and portforward tells me that the port is in use like I expected. But when I try connect to the RA unit using the app at home or away or from the portal it fails.
I can not access the webserver on the unit either when I type the IP in192.168.1.2:1000/wifi
Any ideas anyone??

Re: Running 2 Wifi modules and have some Issues
So, you get nothing if you browse: http://192.168.1.2:1000
Did you try a different port? One that is above 1024.
I like 8000 or 8080.
Just to confirm, the code loaded on your RA has wifi enabled, right?

Re: Running 2 Wifi modules and have some Issues
no I didnt think of that I will try now and let you know
Re: Running 2 Wifi modules and have some Issues
I changed the port to 8080 snd tried the webserver and nothing so I loaded a new code and made sure it had wifi enable and it did and so did the original code and it did.
Re: Running 2 Wifi modules and have some Issues
I got the webserver working on port 8080 but that port was blocked by my provider so I switch to port 3000 and now all is working and now the temp probe errors on all ports? any ideas
Re: Running 2 Wifi modules and have some Issues
Cool.
Was it like that before?
Did you try a different one?
Do the wires look ok?
