Wifi and standard Reef Angel

Post by cosmith71 »

Is there enough memory in the standard RA to run the Wifi module, or is it better with the RA+?

Seems like I read somewhere that memory on the standard RA + Wifi was very tight.

Thanks,

You will be fine with RA and wifi as long as your code is not extremely complex. So, yes it is tight.
If you are concerned about memory space, RA+ would definitely get rid of the worries.

how tight is it? Now I am worried that if I order the ORP module it will not work. I already have the wifi module. What else can be added on top of the wifi?

Also what happen when someone hits the end of the memory?

Compile the code you are using and you will see how much memory you got left.

I am a beginner, have the standard version and am running a custom ATO, have the Wifi expansion, the Salinity module and running "Reefcrest" on a WP-40. Runs like a charm.
