New RA Controllable WP-40 Pump

Post by coolbird »

I have not seen these pumps advertised on the website before.

Is there any detailed information available for them like how many gallons or litres per hour, is there volume of flow control, where do you plug the controlling cables into on the RA.

Very interested :-)

I have one in my 65. It is indeed controllable by the RA. For more info on the pump than you could ever want, check out the thread on Reef Central in the equipment forum. You can purchase the cable here from Roberto. It hooks up very easily.

There is also a thread here on the pump and how to control it.

I am a little confused, on the products page there is a (apparently) new advert for Controllable WP-40 Pump,,,are these the same as the Jebo WP-40, they are advertised as:

Controllable WP-40 Pump
Features:
Controllable with Reef Angel controllers
Includes the controlling cable harness.
Several wave patterns, such as Reefcrest, Short Pulse, Long Pulse, Nutrient Transport and many more

Thanks

Yes, they are the Jebao WP-40 pump, without the stock controller and with the RA cable included.

I'm now working on getting my hands on some WP-25. According to the manufacturer, they should be available next week...
Let's see :)

I have the WP-40 (not RA'd yet) and it seems to be a good pump. Definitely worth the money.

I don't think you can. You just chunk they're controller. And buy the RA cable from the reef angel store.

That would be great. I think my WP40 is to big for my 55 gallon.

I saw the addition on the home page and thats what provoked the question in the first place.

Is the light sensor still available or has this gone the way of the stock controller?

Do RA plan on stcking the 25's as well, now I have the RA and wifi running (with your help) I am going to place an order for 2x pumps, 2x temp sensors, ORP and salinity,,,,,,am impressed.

Getting a lot of interest from other people in the UK :-)

Good timing

I'm sure he will send you one, but he has a schematic on the Controlling Jebao/Tunze pumps thread http://forum.reefangel.com/viewtopic.php?p=24152#p24152.

I must be missing them in the products area. I don't see any listed.

Are you offering the smaller size 25's by any chance? 40's would probably be too large for my 29 cube.

The pumps have been taken down from the site. He is only offering the cable to connect the pumps to the RA.
If you want a 40 PM me to let me know and I'll get you in touch with someone who has them at a good price.

Hi Roberto. I am planning to buy the jeabo 25 pump. What do I need to buy to get this to work with the RA? I know I need to buy the cable from this site but I have a RA basic with nothing else connected than 2 temp probes and 1 ph probe and 1 ATO switch, so do I need to buy any extension module to plug it in my basic RA?

Also what about the code?

All you need the jebao cable.
You will connect it to the dimming ports which are located on the side of the relay box.
Then, go to this thread:

thanks a lot, looking forward to try this. I just installed the code for the delayed ATO and it's working great. Now my ATO is behaving like a pro :)
