It also looks like you are using a very unsecure wifi encryption.
WEP is not supported by the module. It's too old and not secure at all.
Make sure you are using the most advanced and secure, which is WPA2-PSK with AES encryption

Oh no...
Your router probably supports it... You just need to change it.
Login into your router and go to wireless settings. You should be able to change there.

What IP are you using when outside your network? You can go to whatsmyip.org to find out your external IP address. There's also a link somewhere in other threads to see if the port is in fact open from outside. Also the port forwardign from the wifi utility isn't 100% so you may need to manually setup the port forward.

I get a connection timeout when I check that port 2000. On the app I just use the one the wifi utility gave me.

You need to find out what external IP you are using. The 192.168.1.whatever is only valid when on your network and will not work on your cellular connection or on another network.

Check out whatsmyip.org get the IP that it gives you and check if the port 2000 is open on that IP.

If not, then you'll need to confirm the port forwarding in your router manually.

I got the utility to finally do the port. It says
Success: I can see your service on 184.14.xxx.xxx on port (2000)
Your ISP is not blocking port 2000
So you got to change the IP in the app if your in, or out of your network?
I still get the unreachable address on the reefangel.com and has never updated.

Have you checked port 2000 on this site? http://www.canyouseeme.org/

Also you can use a dynamic dns service like http://www.noip.com/ or whatever your router supports so
that you don't have to keep switching your ip address in the app.

Oh it did update once at 10:40am, but still says unreachable address and when I click on a relay I get only available with valid wifi. Make sure controller is sending info to web portal. I can type the ip in ie and the angel reef sever comes up.

Yes, that's code.
Make sure you uploaded it to the controller and that you have the wifi attachment connected to the controller.

Could it be because your router doesn't implement NAT loopback?
I seem to see this happening now and then.
I have this same problem myself, because my router doesn't do it either.

Really damn. Anyone recommend a router modem combo. I do have another wireless router. Can that be hooked up to a router/modem too?
