Reef angel issues

Post by iiluisii »

Ok who here has a reef angel unit that is working non stop without any issues specially the wifi module. Cause it seems that I can get this thing working for a week before it just goes to crap again. Am I the only only one with this issues I'm about to pull the plug and get rid of this because it has been non but head aches

I used to.
I modded it with an external antenna and upgraded to the 4.0 firmware. Fixed it for me.

I abandoned the Wifi module all together and have a wired Ethernet solution. Have not had a single bit of trouble with network connectivity since. BEST thing I have done to my RA+ so far.

I agree, I never have any connectivity problems with my wired network.

I've never had any issues with my WiFi unit or any that were a result of the RA or the unit. (Knock on wood)
I've has some issues, but they have been with my network not the RA or WiFi module.

I've had no issues with my wifi either. That is until I got a 2.4GHz baby monitor... then I updated to 4.0 and have been 100% since.

mine has been quite reliable, however, I do have a friend that has had issues with hers. She ended downgrading the code and all has been well. Don't give up.

Downgrading? What were the issues? If she downgraded libraries it could be the flush size on the wifi module...
