lights flickering

lights flickering
My lights are flickering and I was wondering what would cause this. I also want to clean up the wiring and was wondering if I could use a female VGA connector and VGA cable to connect the signal wires for the PWM and also use another for the wires to power the led chips? My dimming module is a 5v version by the way.
