Bulk Reef Supply. They have a value probe for like $25, I paid like $40 for the pin point. They have a good priced lab grade probe which supposedly last longer, but at the time I wasn't sure if it was probe or voltage... so I went with the pin point, seemed a good compromise.

+1 on the BRS probe. I've been using their cheap probe for almost 2 years and its still doing fine.

I checked for stray voltage and there does not seem to be any as the probe keep dropping even in a cup of water, does not matter. I replaced the probe for a cheap ebay probe. Seem to be working well so far.

I have been having ph probe issues since I got my RA. I tried calibrating. Seemed to only get worse. I waited a few months and got new solution, and just tried to calibrate. Still the same problem.

I'm getting swims from 1.8 to 7.9 in a day period. Everything in the tank looks fine.

Can it just be a bad probe.

I've found my probe reasons go extremely low while my lights are on while it is dimming up.

Did you try disconnecting your drivers to see what happens?

I shutoff that relay and watched it slowly raise back up. When my dimming cycle gets to about 75 percent of peak the ph returns to normal readings.

Do you think it could be due to analog dimmers? I see no place where wiring is touching either the tank or other wiring

Sounds like your drivers are doing that.
If you disconnect the dimming wires from the side of relay box, does it raise back up too?

No, but the lights aren't on with them unplugged either.

Why would the driver cause the oh probe to read wrong? There is nothing with the writing from the lights touching anything on the tank or the probe wire

It doesn't matter whether the lights are on or not.
They are still connected and share the same ground.
The standard dimming ports are non-isolated. The newer expansion dimming ports are isolated.
So, if your drivers are leaking anything. You will need to either replace the drivers with ones that don't do that or isolate them with the dimming module.

Why does it quit when the dimmers get past a certain amount?

Not sure... What drivers are you using?

Maybe at lower dimming the resistance is causing some kind of feedback? Makes sense in my head :)

It would be weird for both drivers to send back a leak, wouldn't it?

Are you dimming them seperately? or together?

Do you turn off the relay the drivers are on or let them shut off dimming to 0? If the power is on the same relay box for the drivers can you try them in a different outlet perhaps non ra controlled?

Is it definitely either channel adding the interference? Or could it be just one causing it?

I let them dim to 9 percent which is off. Then the relay follows

If they dim to 0, are the lights using any electricity?

Tried moving to a outlet off the wall, no difference. Even tried a different wall.

Finally got a multimeter to measure stray voltage. I measure 2.6 with ph probe out of the water, lights on. Plug in ph and get close to 9 volts. I also keep getting my screen to blank out even though I replaced to screen. Do I have a voltage issue with my RA?

My screen only works after I unplug and restart RA. Then after it sleeps turns on just white

I replaced the screen about 3 months ago. Worked fine for a while, then back to doing it. I wonder if I have a bad unit

Can you still access the controller with apps when the screen is black?
