RF Module Vortech MP40w sync issue

Hey guys,
I'm trying to sync my ONE MP40w with my RF Module but I keep getting the Blue/Red blinking light as if the Module and Vortech are too far away but they are literally right next to each other. Can someone please help me troubleshoot?

This is what I've done so far:

1) Uploaded Vortech Setup code to unit. RF Module is blinking Blue/Green
2) Reset memory on Vortech
3) Set Vortech into slave mode - the vortech blinks Blue/Yellow once then goes into Blue/Red blinking and does not sync.

I've tried resetting the Vortech a few times to no avail. Any ideas? I can't proceed to the next step in the RF Manual since the Vortech and RF Module won't sync. Please help. Thanks.

I hard reset the controller and was able to sync. Thanks.
