What does the bluetooth attachment replace, or do easier?

I can't find it on the website, so I'm guessing it allows your computer to connect with the Reef Angel using bluetooth? Instead of using a USB cord.

Exactly. I find it a lot easier to deal with them moving my laptop whenever I want to make a quick change.

What kind of range does it have?

My mounting location for the RA will be directly below my tank in the basement, and my laptop is right near my tank. Will it reach probably 6' away thru a floor?

If so, I'm very interested in this item.

It has the standard 30 feet for BT connection. I am able to connect to my RA from the first floor. My tank is upstairs.
This is also very useful if your RA is in a cabinet etc.
