dimming ecoxotic modules

Post by d0lph1n »

Guys,

Recently, ecoxotic released an inline dimmer for Stunner LED strips, EcoPico LED strips, Panorama Pro LED modules with the following specs:

Input/Output Voltage: 5V - 24V DC
Maximum Capacity: 60 watts at 24V
Dimming: PWM (Pulse Width Modulation)

Since I'm a new RA user, could you tell me please if it's possible to use RA only as dimmer for these modules? How?

I have just taken a look at their site and the spec of the Stunner inline dimmer. I could be wrong, but it looks like the unit uses PWM internally and that there isn't an input port for a external PWM signels.

Sorry about that as it would have been low cost entry to LED lighting :)

Yeah, I don't see anywhere in the specsheet that tells me that there is any way to interface with this dimmer module.

Is it possible to use a different transformer compatible with RA dimming features that can power these LED modules?

I read that you can simply use meanwell drivers instead of the transformer that comes with it.
The meanwell drivers can be dimmed by RA.
