Relay box...

Post by saltwaternoob »

I have had a few of the outlets on the relay box go out in the last couple days, 2, 4, 6, 7 are out checked it with a multi meter, while they were supposed to be on. Any one know if there is an easy fix/ someone else experienced this? Dont think it got wet but you never know, it had things plugged in to those outlets.

Thanks

Anthony

What did you have connected to them?
Did they all happen within a couple days?
Did you change your code?

One was a heater, moon lights on another, and a pump/wavemaker was the last one. Noticed the heater first not sure if they were all the same day or night.

No change to codes for at least a month.

Something sounds odd.. the relays stick open, not closed, when they go bad. Have you tried unplugging the controller and plugging it back in? I would guess that was your first idea so forgive me if it seems like a silly question.

I figured it out after reading your post, I switched out the "VGA" cord the other day because the one supplied with the kit wont tighten down, any bump and it comes off.

Anyways i switched them back and it works fine now. I guess its not a normal VGA cord then.
