wifi troubles

Post by aqua man 07 »

so ill start by saying im not a computer programer. i tried the wifi utilty and it wont work if it even conets to the wifi attachment it will say err unplug and try again. so once i finaly get it to go on to where i enter my ssid and key it says it wont connect. if there is no easy way to set this up im just going to sell it if i dont smash it into pieces first. any help would be great.

Are you sure you are selecting the correct serial port?
Is the wifi blinking green and blue?
Can you click "Copy to clipboard" and paste the results in here?

And you are positively sure that you are typing the ssid and passphrase in the same case, correct?
They are both case sensitive.
One thing you can try is to remove the - in your SSID and use only alpha numeric characters.
Also, for best compatibility, use WPA2-PSK with AES encryption in your router security settings. This is the most secure one too.

Did you change the ssid in your router to be without the - too?
You have to type the exact same thing as your router or it won't work.
