new to reef angel

hi guys

just bought a brand new RA not plus

i have setup everything but when attempting the wizard and getting it to "generate and upload" i get a fail, this happens on both windows 8.1 and maverick

i can't post images of the error here i get this :

The serial port will depend on your computer...

Did you install the drivers for the cable?

What com ports are listed? In Device Manager under USB devices and/or Communication ports is there any devices with yellow exclamation marks?

On windows there's only one a com3

On the mac there is 6 but I have selected

/dev/try.usbserial-AM021MF2

None with any errors

Does the controller reboot a few seconds after you hit upload code?
Have you tried selecting Reef Angel Plus?

Yes it reboots about 20 seconds after I hit the upload

I tried the reef angel plus on windows but not the mac

How would I test the cable

What is the sequence of the colors in the cable?
