2 RAs on same network
Trying to run two RA's with WiFi's on the same network. How would I go about this?
Re: 2 RAs on same network
They would have different IP internally so you'd just have to forward a different port to the second one. So port 2010 internally would point to RA2 on port 2000. If your router doesn't support that you can change the port on the wifi module to 2010 as well.

That's what I'll have to do. How do you change the port on the module?lnevo wrote:They would have different IP internally so you'd just have to forward a different port to the second one. I don't have a clue how to do that. Lolrimai wrote:You will need to use Tera term to connect with the WiFi module.

The manual has some instructions on how to go into command mode using any serial terminal like tera term or putty.
Here is the full manual from the manufacturer for your reference if you want to look at it.

After you enter command mode, simply send command:

I tried to get into command mode on Tera Term, but I just saw symbols instead of textrimai wrote:Which step did you get stuck?
Instructions said to enter $$$ to enter, but nothing worked there.

alright, I think I was able to get the port changed, but that doesn't help. i set up the port forward just like the first RA, but when i go to canyouseeme, it says Connection Timeout. also, I noticed the portal is displaying the RA on port 2000, instead of port 2020.

Still nothing todayrimai wrote:Did you try on 57600 baud rate?
Re: 2 RAs on same network
I did. I set the ip localport to 2010, and then again to 2020. Still no cigarrimai wrote:You have to type $$$ within a second. So, type it fast.
Re: 2 RAs on same network
Ahh. I thought you were not being able to even enter command mode.
Did you issue command save and reboot after you changed it?
Can you explain exactly what you cannot do?

Re: 2 RAs on same network
I think I see what's going on.
Even tho I set up port forwarding, my router is still refusing connection to port 2010.
I'm still using my stock Xfinity Gateway.
And it sucks. Even tho I've set up port forwarding and DMZ, I don't think it can handle having two ports open so close together.
I'm pulling my cisco router out of the attic tomorrow and using it instead.
It has better settings and features.
