lost wifi connection

Post by Seagals »

Hi all

I had wifi connected for many years with no issues until a month or so ago it stopped working - There have been no changes here of services and I tried re doing the wifi set up and uploading the the wizard - I cant seem to get it to read ont he portal. admitedly I am not a computer coder - I rely on the wizard for the technical stuff.

I do have a slow blinking green light - which I belive eans it has an address

How do I troubleshoot and reconnect?

Thank you

Thanks - ironically I just got and email alert from the RA - so it must be communicating.

Next question is how come I cannot see in the portal?

I see last data a few minutes ago.
It should be updating... Can you refresh?

The portal says 'unreachable address' I am not at home to verify if toggling switches works

That is probably your port forwarding setup.

One way to avoid all this is the RA*.
It has ethernet and cloud capability, so you don't need to mess with port forwarding.

interested - I see the cloud attachment doesn't need the port forwarding either - Is that an option too?

Yes, cloud capable, but using WiFi. You mentioned going ethernet.
