Abs plastic and a heat gun. Mold the abs around the RA.

I have tried velco, it FAILED within a week...now I used some zip ties to mount it to the metal shelving I have next to my tank...ghetto, but I am not handy with the heat gun and ABS

I've been using velcro and it is holding up fine. You just need to make sure you use the stuff that is clearly labeled "industrial strength" on the package.

Yep velcro should be fine if you use the proper kind. Hell it's really hard the remove the Velcro when you get the good stuff. That's what is holding both of my RAs and my aqua lifter ATO pump.

I use the industrial Velcro a lot on all my RA units as well as Bio Pellet reactor hanging on the back of my Red Sea Max 250. The reactor must weigh around 4lbs and is as solid as a rock, I hope :?

There are two options in this post http://forum.reefangel.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=76

Mine works so far. Can't complain much for the price.

I ran down to the local plastic shop today, and he came up with this. It was modified from something else they had made, but the customer didn't pick up. I only paid $10 for it as it basically scrap to them. I'm loving mine....nice snug fit, access to all plugs, and it can't fall out. Take a look at the pics and let me know what you think. It would be nice to see something like this offered for sale on the site.
