Hi
Why don't we build and sticky with the codes, the syntax of making then work and what they do, this will help a lot with basic one code function, like random wavemaker, chiller temp set, and all those that don't require complex coding.
Stick post with codes??

Re: Stick post with codes??
I like the idea, would you like to help gathering the information?
We had this in the past for the original libraries I released a couple years back.

We can start posting everything in here.
When we gather all the information, you can create a post for the stickie

Re: Stick post with codes??
Great idea.
I have found that there is so much useful info in the forum and I have done my best in creating the "where to start guide" in trying to point to it with links from the document. But it is not easy keeping it up to date.
However if Stickys were used the code snippets would be in one place. One problem I find is that when a piece of code is provided in a posting, it gets lost as the post is commented on. Code in a locked post would prevent this, and members could always refer to the sticky with a link when asking questions or making comments.
To get it started will require some discipline on the part of the code author.

Re: Stick post with codes??
I agree i'll try to compile all the codes i can find in a document, a later ask you guys what they do and how they work, to work on this, the OP of the forum could keep it close so no comments are added, and just edit the post as new codes or changes come to keep the post update.
