i am having trouble calibrating my pH probe. Here is what I did:
1. select ph cal from menu
2. put probe in 7 fluid, wait 20 min; number was 512
3. rinse probe
4. put probe in 10 fluid, wait 20min; number 519
5. press ok, goto main screen
6. go to reef angel client, enter in my two pH cal numbers
When I put probe back in the 10 solution, i get reading of 9.2.
Any ideas on how to fix?
another ph cal problem
Re: another ph cal problem
The first number seems correct, but the second doesn't.
Is the number you are writing down, the center number?
Can you check if the tip of your probe has a glass bulb?

Re: another ph cal problem
Can you dip in the vinegar and see which number it is giving you?

508 in rice vinegar. doesn't smell to strong for vinegar, so im guessing not a whole lot of acetic acid in there, but still, pH has to be less than 7..
