ATT DSL Wifi Attachment

Hello, I received my Reef Angel with wifi attachment today. However, I use the wifi utility to set up the wifi and it says:
Associated:true
Authenticated:true
DHCP:false
IP address and port: 0.0.0.0:2000

The green light is flashing slowly.
I am using an ATT DSL wireless gateway 2701HB-B that I believe is giving me the problem. Any help is much appreciated!!

What authentication and security mode are you using on your wifi network?
I recommend you use WPA2-PSK with AES encryption. There were some cases of incompatibility with WPA1 in the past.

I have been all through the settings in the router and have found no way to adjust the authentication mode. My laptop shows it as WEP and no authentication. Is this a problem? Any ideas on how to adjust it?

Yes, it is.
You need to change it to what I mentioned above.
It will be most likely on the wifi tab of the router settings.

I was able to find a manual on the internet and find where i needed to change it to WPA2. I now have an IP address. Thank you so much!
