Seems my controller loses time and I have to update it daily.
Is there any way to sync time hourly or run an app to do it?
How is the android app updating the time on the controller? Any way I could schedule that update via a cronjob in Linux or scheduled task in Windows?
Thanks!
Any way to sync time hourly?
Re: Any way to sync time hourly?
That's not supposed to happen.
It has an internal real time clock with battery back up.
The controller syncs itself with this clock every hour.
I think you may have some problem with the clock itself if it is loosing time.
PM if you want to send for repair.

This could be done since you can update the time by connecting to a specific URL but you shouldn't be losing time. Get Roberto to take a look at it for you.agentgreen wrote: How is the android app updating the time on the controller? If you are wanting to know how the apps force a date and time change, check out this thread:

But, like everybody said, it shouldn't lose time. I've got 3 controllers running and have been for months with no loss of time.
