It lets you power the RA Head unit from a USB port. You would do this if you wanted to program the controler but not have the relay unit plugged in at the time, which normally provides the power..

So, used that cable today for the first time to setup my new RA. I plugged it and it worked great. However, when I went to unplug it, the wires pulled right out of the plug in the RA.

Because of how recessed the connector is inside the housing, I could not get a good grip on the plug, and I guess I pulled on the cable a bit.

Any ideas?

Welcome to the club, I have destroyed nearly half the plastic connectors on my RA trying to remove them. Now I keep a pair of needle nosed pliers with my controller at all times. Grab the plastic and pull. :(

It's called a "USB Power Cable". It is in the Store available for purchase.
