Ok i tried to set my wifi up every way that there is.. that i know of that is.. i tried to wifi utility app, davem utility wifi app. which the only one that gave me any kinda luck was the RA app, it did read the module but could not connect i had given me two false's and could not find the router. i believe ive done everything right. but i switched to the other app to try.. i would not connect either. so i tried another computer and now both computers are telling me to reconnect the usb, so i unistalled the installer app to reset the ports.. still no luck, i was able to program the controller. any idea on whats going on.. is it the usb cable that is not working? I do have lights blinking green and blue, i also tried manual but it doesnt do anything after i set up the serial port. the black square just flashes

If you were able to program the controller, it shouldn't be the cable.
Make sure the SSID and passphrase are case sensitive and that there is no $ sign. Also, space in the ssid may mess it up too.
Try changing it to WPA2-PSK with AES encryption.

If the blue LED is still blinking, it means that the Reef Angel Wifi Attachment could not connect to your wifi network.

Is this a used RA?
I haven't seen that firmware in a while :)
Can you try Dave's app?
Make sure you use 57600 baud.
