Basic capacitive water level sensor

I’m looking at these sensors as safety device to control the operation of the pumps (return pump, ATO pump, and close loop pump). I like that they can be attached on the outside of tanks. Would these sensor work with the RA? How would they be wired to the RA? Has anybody used these types of sensors, if so any feedback?

I think it should work just fine in one of the ATO ports.

I have some of these I plan to hook up to detect leaks, but I think these function differently.

Jon, yes these are glued on the outside of a tank.

Rimai, This a 3-wire DC sensor. Would this still work in the ATO ports?

Just make sure you get the 5VDC version.
If I understood correctly, the 3rd wire is going to give you 5VDC level signal, which can be used on the ATO port just fine.

Cool find. If you get this up and running, I'd love to see the setup. Looks way more reliable (maybe?) than a float switch. Will be following along with this.
