programing heaters

Post by lh2o »

i have stated using the RA wizard to create my code but i am not sure how i should program my heaters

i have 2 heaters in the sump One is a via aqua with a controler and the other a eheim

i would basicaly like the temps in the sump to be at 79 the way it is now and set up the RA to shut down the heaters in case of overheat

i was thinking of programing bot outlets on the RA to be opend at 65 and shut down the heaters at 81 or 82

does this make sense ?

If you set the minimum temp to 65 they will not come on until the temp hits 65. Try on at 78 and off at 79.

What happens if let's say there is a power failure and when RA comes back on the temp is below "come on temp " ?
