RA freezes up, wont respond without reset

Post by droopymatt »

HI everybody! new RA unit installed this last weekend keeps freezing up. What i notice is the display does not time out and the ph and temp sensor read error, then the display goes out and wont come back up...relays stay in state that they are in when unit freezes. IM NO PROGRAMMING EXPERT AND EXPECT TO FIND OUT THAT IVE MESSED UP THE CODE, so here it is hopefully this will be easily solved, but i need to figure it out before i move my livestock over from my smaller tank :D

heres my code...PLEASE HELP

Code: Select all

I don't see anything wrong with the code.
The first thing I'd try doing is moving the wavemakers to port 5 and 6.
They have dampening components to reduce the spike generated by pumps, especially Koralias, going on and off constantly.
Or turn them into always on ports for now while troubleshooting.

ok 24hr tested and now it works great...I am using Koralia evo pumps but i moved them to 5 and 6 and now i havent had any faults for 24hrs....Thanks Roberto, now can you point me in the right direction to get the reef client to work?

Great!!!
Please read the following thread:
http://forum.reefangel.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=175
The most important thing to make sure is that you have the following line on the ReefAngel_Features.h file:

Code: Select all

#define wifi
Even if not using wifi. The Client uses the wifi code to communicate.
