I'm looking at custom programming my reef angel and I'm getting some ideas about including some customised alerts to be emailed. (Example: once a day at a certain time emailing up time of the controller, emailing on power outage, emailing on power restore, and a few others that I haven't thought of yet. But I know I will. Hehe)
But I'm wondering, is that at all possible to send emails for custom events? If so, what's the best way of doing it.

The problem is that the class I'm using isn't in the main distribution yet. You can get it from my git repository.
