update and now not working

The other day my gf was going to change some settings on my controller and when she opened the app on my laptop it asked her if she wanted to do an update so she said ok and did the update. Now when ever I go to the wizard to change anything it says there was and error and to try again. Can I undo the update or what can I do to get it working again?

Try downloading the installer from the website and installing it again.

It says an error has occurred please try again. But I figured if I hit generate only instead of generate and upload it will generate the code and then I can click Upload and it works just doesn't work when I hit generate an upload at the end of the wizard
