Re: Serious temperature issues
I have two sensors in there and both go to 0 for a little while, I get an alert and then it returns back to normal, it happens at the same time so sensor issue can most likely be ruled out

Serious temperature issues
The past couple days I was getting alerts for temp being 0, I would check and it would be ok shortly thereafter and finally today I got a bunch of emails and my temp is down to 68. It shows the heater being on and I have a few heaters for some redundancy so I know they haven't failed. I'm at work at...

Automatic lighting acclimation for MH
I have to admit I spent zero time searching for this, but has anyone written already or how hard would it be to have some kind of acclimation mode to say ramp my lights 15 min every day over the course of a couple weeks or something. For when bulbs are changed or new corals added

Re: iOS Reef Angel Status
Now I didn't read through the whole thread but I know my RA app doesn't work on ios7 and that help is needed there. My brother in law does programming for the OS conversions among other things and I was telling him about the issues and asked if there was a way he could help out. He's not a reefer no...

Problem with display and more
I couldn't figure out a good title for my issue, but when i got home i went downstairs and was just doing my regular check on things, i normally haven't been looking at the display on the head unit but i decided to. It was kind of half there, a few things were missing, the colors were off and nothin...

Re: surface tablet????
Sorry for the delay....what is the difference in the two ??
Also, Roberto I did a little research on the subject and windows is a pain in the butt, it appears every console is it's own OS, so apps for phone/tablet/laptop/PC don't seem to be interchangeable...I can't believe it's like that but it is

Wow you rock!
i'm not yet ready to implement this and as soon as i do i will report back, now i need to study up on this more, i'll start by reverse engineering your code. Cause to be honest i don't even know where to put that LOL

Re: ATO port, momentary switch, feeding mode
I really liked curts idea of holding the switch as i was originally thinking that to avoid every time i';m in the cabinet putting it in feeding mode. Now i'm trying to learn how this code works and although i can't speculate, what would you add to that previous code to have the port see continuity f...

ATO port, momentary switch, feeding mode
I thought this wouldve been easier to find by searching but apparently not. My unit is in the basement while DT is upstairs. I don't want to have to access portal every time i want to enter feeding mode, which is mostly stop water movement so i can see into the tank cause i only have access from the...

Re: Reef Angel dosing pumps
That's such a simple obvious way to test the pumps I'm glad you mentioned it, I suppose as long as it's dosng good fora week I should trust it, I mean what do you guys do to verify these things are working properly long term....I guess one obvious way is with consistent testing of parameters, as lon...

Re: Reef Angel dosing pumps
Ok great thanks! Reef Angel dosing pumps
I bought the dosing pump setup from a friend, its not the one currently for sale, it has 2 pumps in the box but its a Reef Angel. I was testing it out to set up my dosing pump timers in the wizard and i see other peoples dosing schedule is, for example, every 240 min for 120sec or whatever. I wanted...

actually you explained it perfectly! ok i have it all set up and i got wifi configured and portal and it seems i'm almost ready to integrate into my system, but i want to feel a little more confident on using this before i attach it to my, currently seamless, tank setup. Alright you guys convinced me. I ordered a (slightly used) ra+ with wifi and some jebao cables!!!! Re: Is RA right for me?
Ok cool thanks. Now I've tried searching but the amount of info is overwhelming so ill just ask, how difficult will it be to use having only Mac and Apple products, if I get the wifi module does that solve that issue? You can't use the ragen with it right? Will I be able to modify code etc or will I...
