Re: TMC aqua ray
Looks expensive. 30W... You lighting a nano? If all you're after is pwm control I'd just get some cheap Chinese LED lights and replace the drivers if you're not lucky enough to find some that aren't already pwm. Someone found these PWM drivers http://www.ebay.com/itm/24-30x3w-Dimmable-LED-Driver-Pow...

KalkDoser function
I want to switch my kalk dosing over to the ReefAngel. I use a kalk king today which has it's own computer but now that I have a reef angel it just seems like more cords than I need. I found the function to call on the doxygen site. I've gotten as far as KalkDoser (Box1_Port1 , 8.30, ...) but no ide...

Re: Evergrow/Reefbreeders LED 0-10v expansion dimming
So I had a fun and successful night tonight and wanted to share it in case someone else had the same idea. I wanted my lights to be dimmable by either the pot or the reef angel. By day I'm a network engineer and we have these things called RJ-48X jacks which are basically a regular 8 pin network jac...

Re: Evergrow/Reefbreeders LED 0-10v expansion dimming
Glad to hear it! Hopefully you have the right crimper. Apparently these need an XH sized crimper and I bought a KF2510 crimper which is for the longer inserts. So I ended up smashing about 5 of their ends before I figured that out... :/

Does the other side have a couple of locking ridges in it? I bought https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/XHP-4/455-2267-ND/683353 & https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/SXH-001T-P0.6/455-1135-1-ND/527370 for my chinese light boxes and they're a perfect fit. https://www.digikey.com/prod...

Re: Hacking LEDs to work with RA
I took a stab at it tonight. It's working perfectly with the dimming expansion module jumpered to 10V analog. Thanks Lee!

Power Control on < 1 second. Possible?
Is it possible to activate the power control expansion module in under 1 second increments? I see now() is measured in seconds.

Re: Hacking LEDs to work with RA
Well I guess I can use the PWM for my Jebaos... Ok, so I'll add a dimming extension board to my list of "to buys".
And I've requested they add me.
Thanks for your help!

Hacking LEDs to work with RA
I bought a RA PWM with the intention of hacking my LEDs to work with them. While it finds it's way to me I wanted to start the planning. They're the standard Chinese LEDs. This picture is from a Euphotica 16". I also have a Aquamana that I haven't cracked open yet. Is the procedure the same for...
