water level expansion pipe
water level expansion pipe
What are those orange things called that are on the top of the water level expansion pipe where the 1/4 inch tube goes? Also where can I buy some? This may have been asked before but, can I change the length of the pipe and the 1/4" tube?
Re: water level expansion pipe
I'm not sure what those are or where you can buy them. the length of the pipe and tubing can be any length you need it to be.
Re: water level expansion pipe
You just need a sealed pipe... if you get a pvc pipe that fits into the cap that came with yours you can extend to whatever you want. If you need to replace it completely, you can just drill a hole and seal it with silicone maybe... as long as it's airtight. Maybe roberto can chime in
Re: water level expansion pipe
It's an adapter for gardening tubing. 1/2" PVC to 1/4" tubing adapter.
Roberto.
Re: water level expansion pipe
Would there be an issue if I made the pipe around 22" long?
Re: water level expansion pipe
Great! Now just waiting on the multi water level expansion
Re: water level expansion pipe
What store did you get this at and can you get a 3/4" to 1/4" tubing adapter?rimai wrote:It's an adapter for gardening tubing. 1/2" PVC to 1/4" tubing adapter.
i have a lot of 3/4" pvc and would like to use it instead of buying 1/2" pvc. if you can't get a 3/4" adapter, then I will probably convert the 1/2" to 3/4" pvc.

Re: water level expansion pipe
For 3/4", you can use a cap and drill a hole in it.
I did this and it worked fine for me

You could also use a 1/2" to 3/4" adapter.binder wrote:What store did you get this at and can you get a 3/4" to 1/4" tubing adapter?rimai wrote:It's an adapter for gardening tubing. 1/2" PVC to 1/4" tubing adapter.

Ya, I found it there too, but I couldn't justify buying that many when I only needed one. Also, I get free shipping through Amazon.
Re: water level expansion pipe
I was going to use this adapter but wasn't for certain if there was anything "easier". I think I'm going to try the cap on the 3/4" tube and see how that works for me. I'm only going to use it to monitor the reservoir level.Sacohen wrote:You could also use a 1/2" to 3/4" adapter.binder wrote:What store did you get this at and can you get a 3/4" to 1/4" tubing adapter?rimai wrote:It's an adapter for gardening tubing. 1/2" PVC to 1/4" tubing adapter.
