Local Web Page Not Connecting
Local Web Page Not Connecting
To All;
My controller is a RA-Plus. The controller connects to the cloud portal just fine. The various parameters (Temp, pH, Relays, etc.) are all updating. So my credentials are correct and the port forwarding is working seems to working correctly.
However, the local web connectivity is a conundrum. The 'Status' page shows disconnected and all the parameters are zeroed. Yet, the 'Relay' page shows the proper outlet labels. I had changed the labels a week ago and I see these changes present, but port values (on/off) do not update. So at some point it must have connected in the last week. The other strange last connected date is displayed as 06/17/2021.
I have the updated drivers as per https://forum.reefangel.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=4601. So I doubt this is the issue.
The one thing it maybe is the name for the controller may have changed. I have the build for 06/15/2021. Can someone point to which file this might be stored in?
Any other ideas as to what it might be?

Re: Local Web Page Not Connecting
Make sure the ip address is correct and you are connected to the same wifi network as the controller.

Roberto;
Yes, the IP is being received and I am on the same AP and network. The communications to the portal seem fine. And the Apache server on board the controller is responding on port 2000.
It is when I try the 'wifi' page that I get the following:
This is odd because the portal seems to be able to obtain the data just fine:
So according to a traffic capture I am communicating over http/1.1 between my MacBook and the Controller fine. I can see a Get /wifi issued and a http://200 response when I request data. But in the text returned with the 200 I am seeing an html <object type> http://www.reefangel.com/wifi3/content.html [cut] </object type>. I then see port 80 HTTP traffic between my MacBook and the Reef Angel site, each with a TCP ACK.
Look at the trace you would think things are working.
Running the call to for http://www.reefangel.com/wifi3/content.html from Postman, I get an HTML document with a number of JAVA scripts. I am beginning to think, this is a JAVA/MacBook issue or a JAVA latests Browser issue.

Re: Local Web Page Not Connecting
Update:
I just tried from an old Windows 10 laptop. Same result. Both the MacBook and the WIN 10 machines seem to be stuck.. The portal user name does not seem to carry through from the settings. I am using uApp 2.0.3 if that helps.

Re: Local Web Page Not Connecting
The internal web server is very rudimentary and it basically loads the uapp, which you might as well load from here:
http://forum.reefangel.com/uapp/
By the attached photo above, it seems you are somehow entering the cloud username and password, which would force uapp to use the cloud server. You do not have the cloud wifi attachment.
So, please delete that controller and add a new one, but this time make sure to not enter anything on username and password. Just enter the ip address and port. You should not see "Cloud Server: Connecting..."

I have done so. I even changed the profile(server) name & the IP address handed to the Controller to ensure it not some weird cached credentials issue. I have let it run for an hour.
I am getting the same non-update. Does the sever name need to match something exactly?

Re: Local Web Page Not Connecting
Don't use the internal web server... Use uapp from here: http://forum.reefangel.com/uapp/
Roberto.
Re: Local Web Page Not Connecting
I had tried the forum uApp you sent the link for. Sorry, I should have mentioned that.
Same thing. I must be doing something wrong.

Re: Local Web Page Not Connecting
What happens when you click refresh on the top right corner?
Roberto.
Re: Local Web Page Not Connecting
Also, the uapp at http://forum.reefangel.com/uapp/ is supposed to be on 2.0.9
Roberto.
Re: Local Web Page Not Connecting
Roberto;
When I clock on the refresh button in the upper right I get "Unable to process controller data!"
For clarification, are you saying that I need to upgrade the controller's software to 2.0.9 or to verify the uapp is supposed to be version 2.0.9 (which it is)?

Re: Local Web Page Not Connecting
I just moved and the controller was down for awhile. During that time the on-board battery died; it has now replaced. Is it possible that I lost the internally memory and this may come into play?
I notice it spins its wheels on the memory tab and then gives same error.

Re: Local Web Page Not Connecting
The internal memory is not affected by the internal battery. Only the clock looses time.

Roberto;
I got it to work. The issue seems to be a browser issue. I used FireFox and everything shows up.
Chrome and Safari seem unable to process the data.
