Lost wifi, I think?
I cannot connect to my wifi anymore through the wifi commands or the iPhone. I've restarted it and the light continues to blink green. I noticed the portal is defaulting to a new ip address as well, but the portal seems to be updating from the web banner database. Any ideas what's gone wrong?
Thanks,
Jon

Maybe, how do I check that? I have a 2wire system.

Looks like it did and the portal figured it out. I may just need to update the port so it shows up in the live connection and iPhone app.

Re: Lost wifi, I think?
OK so I'm a bit lost. Honestly, I don't remember how I got it to work last time. I had a dyndys account but I don't think I kept it after the Portal launched because I didn't think I needed it. I guess it is still a good idea for the iphone app. I can see the wifi if I use the IP address 162.x.x.x from the WiFly, but that is only on my local network wireless. If I go 3G or look on the portal that doesn't work and neither does the new IP used by the Broadband 99.x.x.x. Am I missing something?
Thanks,
Jon

Re: Lost wifi, I think?
sorry didn't mention that, but yeah I think the port forward is OK. I'm actually using 162.x.x.x:2000 and it works on my wireless network, but not outside my wireless network and not with the 99.x.x.x:2000 IP.

That's exactly what happens when port forwarding is not correct.
You can access internal ip, because there is no need of port forwarding.

Got it! Thanks! I was port forwarding from my computer IP, not the WiFly IP. It works now.
Atleast I have this thread now if I forget how to do this again.
