problem with relay box?
I was taking the relay box off my old tank to move to my new tank, and i heard a rattling inside. I was able to get a small piece of something to fall out. I have attached pictures. its a little under 1/4" square. It looks like the casing on an electrical component, a capacitor or something. Is...

Re: downloading program from controller
Thanks, I think I found a backup file on another computer. I just wish I could make sure its the right one, because everything is working great, I just want to change from pwmparabola to pwmslope. Is there an easy way to add a line of text to one of the default controller screens where I could basic...

downloading program from controller
Hey everyone,
I haven't been on here in a long time, and I haven't messed with my controller in a long time. I decided I wanted to change up some code, but my program files are all on a hard drive that crashed. is there any way to download the currently running program from the controller?
Thanks

I am out of town so I can't try any of the temp fixes. But it is still resetting, and I'm sure my firmware is old.

Controller randomly resetting
So I have issues where my controller would randomly reset from time to time. I normally notice it because I have wave makers set up, but I have them overridden to always on through the android app. When it resets it resets my overrides. It also sets the Pwm percentages to 20% when it happens when th...

Re: Android Reef Angel Status
Is there any way to add a "custom location" to the memory location drop down menu? (ie, not have to type in the number each time) also is there a way to delete unwanted items from that same drop down? i use like 2 of them and have to scroll through 50. not big issues, but if there is an ea...

I had been using the older version of the android app (sorry I don't know what version but it was before the logo change) with no problems. Re: need help with dosing pumps
ya using a memory location is fine, just wasnt sure how to do it, and i wasnt sure if i could do that math in the code or not. :) I guess in that case i might as well take it one step farther and make it so i can just enter my dose amount in mL and add to the equation in the code to convert that to ...

Ok, so im having trouble with setting up dosing pumps... Here is what i want to do.. I want to be able to enter my TOTAL daily dosing time in the "runtime" memory spot. I then want to have my calcium dose that amount evenly, hourly, over the 24hour day, with a 30 minute offset (so 12:30, 1...

temp probe port?
heres an interesting one... I have 2 temp probes, no matter what port I plug them into they always show up at the same port. for instance, if I just plug one in to the port closest to the ph probe it shows as T1, unplug it, plug it into the middle port, cycle the power, it shows as T1. do the same f...

Ya, I can make it work that way. For what im using it for I have 3 different sets of lights coming on and i already had it coded to do the first 2 with the second being the "middle" of the 3, and i wanted that to coincide with my set times. but its no big deal, Just figured if it worked th...

Re: reefangel.standardlights question
doesnt seem to work. im not sure if it is because i already had the lights on (standard lights start time has already passed). I set the offset according to a time in the future, when i uploaded it left the port on, and nothing happened when it rolled through the "offset" time

reefangel.standardlights question
I know that ReefAngel.StandardLights(Port3,30) will turn port 3 on 30 min before the standard light timer, and turn it off 30 minutes after. If i put in a negative value for the offset will it do the opposite? for instance if my standard light on time is 12:00, would ReefAngel.StandardLights(Port3,-...
